Established in 1997, Collytown stud is situated on the picturesque border of Devon and Cornwall and is home to over a hundred registered pedigree shetland ponies of miniature size, the majority between 28 to 32 inches (excluding our ridden shetlands)
With herds of excellent pedigree and bloodlines boasting a variety of both broken and solid colour we are proudly producing homebred stock of quality and substance.

Our ponies are shown successfully and are sold all over the UK as well as exported worldwide.

Breeding ponies with correct confirmation and exceptional free movement, we pride ourselves on our shetlands being friendly, easy to handle and a pleasure to own.
BHS and NVQ qualified, we offer the very best care and facilities for visiting mares with or without foal at foot.
We also provide a foaling down service for expectant mares with specialist breeder alert foaling alarms used as standard, please contact us for more details.
